Colorful Intimate LGBTQ Wedding in Rockport, MA | Stephanie + Molly

As a Boston wedding photographer, I've captured countless beautiful weddings, but there are some weddings that stand out and stick with you long after the wedding day has passed. One of those weddings was this colorful and intimate LGBTQ wedding in Rockport, MA that I had the pleasure of documenting for Steph & Molly.

They got ready together at the coolest eclectic airbnb (now a VRBO) in downtown Rockport with their lovely puppies - Harry and Maisel. They were both bursting with excitement and energy, eager to create a day that truly reflected their unique personalities and love story. Steph chose to wear a black top, a blue floral and very flowy skirt and a yellow leather jacket - truly a fashion icon! While Molly opted for a button up shirt, a vest and a blue floral tie to complement Steph’s skirt. Their portraits in the Airbnb living room turned out something straight out of a magazine and I’m still not over how cool it turned out - after that we headed to the beach for more portraits even though it was a bit too sunny for it. They rocked their photos together!

The ceremony was held at a family member’s residence during a warm fall day in Rockport, MA. The colorful florals were as vibrant and unique as the couple themselves. Steph & Molly shared their vows in front of their closest friends and family right among the florals while the sun was setting right behind them, providing beautiful light. As I captured the day's special moments, I couldn't help but feel the love and joy radiating from the couple and their guests.

The couple had spared no creativity in creating a fun and colorful celebration that reflected their personalities perfectly, so for their reception, they chose a Grateful Dead themed bar in Gloucester to celebrate their love and commemorate with their people. It was a celebration of love, individuality, and the power of love to bring people together. I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to capture such a stunning and meaningful event. This colorful intimate LGBTQ wedding in Rockport was a good reminder that love knows no boundaries, and that every love story is unique and worth celebrating!  ♡
